Life: A Bubble

Bubbles ! bubbles !
One will think it is what life needs
Instead it bears seedy seeds
Becoming ones frenemy
Without a reason

“If life was like a bubble?
But instead, it is rock hard
Making us to stumble,"
But life is already a bubble itself.

Full of promises
Holding in all that moments
Both cherished and arbored once
Then like thunderclap it burst into thin air
Leaving us with all the 'what if's'
Giving less and taking more

Life like a bubble!
Bringing us it's beauty
And then taking it away in a flash
Only to leave a trace of memory to savour
Yet memories are not enough
Because its ebbs away our joy.

In despair, grabbing all comes to mind
But all that is held dear, goes upwards,
And disappears to thin air,
Living us only in dread.

Gift Jae

“Life: A Bubble” by Gift Jae is a poem about how unpredictable and fragile life is.

It shows how quickly good moments can vanish and reminds us that life doesn’t always give us what we expect.

“Life: A Bubble” compares life to a bubble. At first, bubbles seem fun and harmless, just like life can seem full of hope and promise. But the poet quickly reveals that life is often the opposite: unpredictable, painful, and unfair.

The poem says that life holds both good and bad memories, but just when things seem perfect, everything can burst suddenly, just like a bubble popping.
